Export as Epub or Directly as Epub

I see two options:

File–>Export As–>Export As EPUB…

File–>Export As–>Export Directly As EPUB

What is the difference, and when/why should I use each one?

If you choose Export as Epub you can change various settings of how the file is exported.

Using Export Directly as EPUB will export the entire document using your default EPUB settings.
