Extending formulas to adjacent cells, and SUM is no longer working

When I extend a formula, the adjacent cells correctly show the expected cell references, but the output shows the value of the source cell. Also SUM formulas aren’t updating until I edit the formula.

I recently upgraded to 24.2 from 7.6 I think it was. Also recently switched to a new Mac. I tried the 24.2 Mac chip, and 24.8 Mac chip versions. Still not working.

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Update that I am able to extend formulas on another ods file. So maybe it’s isolated to the one file.

Maybe enabling Menu>Data>Calculate>Autocalculate
