It’s a feature request. LibreOffice lacks automation support desperately. Since there is no way to run javascript macros automatically (for documents batch processing), there would be very small amount of professionals who would be interested in creating and developing javascript macros. LO could’ve had the second jQuery written in javascript but lack of support makes it merely impossible and basic, unfortunately, is not the language that could provide good programming experience and compete with modern requirements to a programming languages.
