Can you add an easy-to-use APA formatting for references, similar to Word’s APA 6th edition feature? I think many professors and students would greatly appreciate this!
Could you please expand your question to include details about what exactly it is you find useful about the APA 6th Ed., feature of Word, and which version of Word you are referring to?
Did you try to install Mendeley desktop and then plugin for Writer? It is great tool for writing scientific papers, which enables to edit all article details and create references within text and to insert bibliography at the end.
In Writer there is integrated function… To edit articles details, you go to Tools- > Bibliographic Databases. To insert reference within text, you go to Insert → Index and Tables → Bibliography Entry.
