When I insert a picture in LibreOffice Writer 64.42, only an empty frame appears with the word figure written inside. This picture only has the written word and nothing about the drawing appears. I used the sidebar to be able to insert any type of figure, however only white and empty frames remain in the Writer’s word processing and figures area. When I open documents like .odt, the figures do not appear in Writer, only those whiteboards appear

I even know how to insert pictures in Writer, but the system only inserts whiteboards without any pictures !
Tools>Options, LibreOffice Writer>View, in section Display tick the categories you want to be visible instead of placeholders.
