I have a spreadsheet (converted from Excel) with a cell on each row containing
=HYPERLINK(CONCATENATE($Notes.$B$4,“BlahDiBlahDiBlah.pdf”),“Web”)
“Notes” is a different sheet in the same file, and “$Notes.$B$4” contains a folder address on my computer, e.g.
file:///C:/Users/Shug/Folder1/Folder2/PDFs/
A number of rows in the main sheet have conditional formatting to highlight them by changing the colour. When I hover the cursor over the link cell in a non-highlighted row I get the message “Ctrl-click to open hyperlink: file:///…etc…”.
When I hover over the cell in a highlighted row nothing happens, and Ctrl-click does not activate the link.
If I make a change to the row that turns off the formatting, then the link works ok.
Any ideas?
