Filter languages in character dialog

Hi,

Is it possible to limit the number of languages shown when I select the language for a character font? I only write in English (Canada), English (US), English (UK), French (Canada), and French (France). Having to scroll through all the others is pretty annoying.

Thanks,

L

Don’t know if it is possible. In the meanwhile, as you begin to type English or French, the list jumps there.

It’s not ideal, but better. I’ll make a feature request.

Thanks,

After that, share the bug report here. Thanks.

To avoid the need to scroll through the language list, don’t use direct formatting. Instead, create your own styles (paragraph and character). Doing so, you only apply styles from your own list (after some “warm up” time, Applied Styles will be populated with your active styles). The list should be rather short because a well-designed document needs ~10-15 styles in each category.

Maybe this is for the toolbar dropdown paragraph style field (1).
But with the sidebar (2), you can choose Applied Styles (3) at the bottom.
