Find and Replace does not work in Calc

I am user running Version: 6.4.7.2
Build ID: 1:6.4.7-0ubuntu0.20.04.6
CPU threads: 16; OS: Linux 5.4; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3;
Locale: en-GB (en_GB.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-GB
Calc: threaded.
The Find and Replace function always returns “Search Key Not Found” even though I can see in a cell the exact word that I have searched for.

Difficult without seeing your file. Are you perhaps searching in formula instead of values?
.
Does your search include special characters ??

Hi Wanderer,
Thank you for taking the time to reply. I have tried switching on and off all the various options for the search, but they all return the same answer. The problem does not seem to apply to all of my spreadsheets created in Calc but one that I use regularly does have this problem. The file is saved as an ods file.

If the text is in the formatting of the cell then Find and Replace won’t find it unless Formatted display is ticked, e.g. #.## "Litres" in this case Litres is not found.

What is the content of the cell? What is the word you are searching for?
Some of the options that I forget to un/mark sometimes:
