Find current Writer location in navigator

Is there a way to find your current location in a Writer document in the Navigator?
i.e. with your cursor currently on a heading in a document can that heading be selected automatically in the Navigator?

I’m using LibreOffice version 4.2.8.2 Build ID: 420m0(Build:2) running on Ubuntu 14.04

Thanks

Hi Jock

Not in my experience, no.

The Status Bar gives a fair amount of information about your current location; if you hover the cursor above the various Status sections it will also put up an Info pop-up. The only things that the Navigator ((kbd):F5) gives is the Page number of the current page + name of current document.

Possibly you could submit an enhancement request?

Hi

This feature exists, you just have to be in Content View mode:

A video (in French) explains this in detail (precisely at 2’50).
