I’m trying to find and replace all tabs in a document, because I need to remove all indentation from it for formatting purposes. However, when I try to find and replace the tabs with \t in the find box, nothing comes up. There are hundreds of tabs in the document–far too many for me to remove manually. What am I doing wrong?
I’m using the Mac version, in case that information is pertinent.
You need to click on the More Options button (bottom of Find & Replace dialog) and check the Regular Expressions box since \t is a regex code

I especially signed up to say thank you, Pedro for this tip. I was frustrated being not able to replace huge amount of empty paragraphs in provided texts. Now after cheking this Regular expression radiobutton it worsk like a charm!
