the View - Graphics Output options don’t work and Hardware Acceleration greyed out. Is this an OSX problem or a Macbook Pro issue or just Apple taking the p*** because I’m not using their freebies. I’ve tried the opengl options with no change the strange thing is the menu’s are crystal clear but even the font previews make a retina screen look like a 1980’s display.

see bug #tdf122218 - In short: Wait until 6.4.2 (planned to be released next week - pre-release 6.4.2.1 is already available and 6.4.2.2 to be expected this week) or install 6.2.7.1.
