I have upgraded to Ubuntu 20.04 recently. It comes with the latest LibreOffice 6.4.2.2.
The format footnote anchor on the footnote area it is not working. I tried to change in the <Footnote/endnote settings>, however it remains with the footnote character format and not the footnote anchor format.

You need to modify the corresponding character styles. The footnote anchor in the text area is formatted by the character style called “footnote anchor” while the corresponding number in the footnote area is controlled by the character style called “footnote characters.” The formatting for the actual paragraph of the footnote is controlled by the paragraph style called “Footnote.”
Yes, I did that already but it remains with the footnote character format and not the footnote anchor format.
It must be a problem with the latest update either LibreOffice 6 or Ubuntu 20.04.
