Format Cells Button

Hi,

I am trying to modify my toolbars in Libre Calc. I am looking for the button to add to my toolbar for /MENU/Format/Cells, which is Ctrl+1 on the keyboard. I am unable to find the button in the customize menu form.

QUESTION
Which one is the button for the format cells, please?

Thanks,
-SHD

With a Calc document open go to Tools → Customize, tab Toolbars, in the Search field enter Format Cells (with Category All commands or Format being active) and voilá, there’s the button.

Ah, yes. Thank you for taking the time to reply to my question. I appreciate your assistance.

If you want to format cells using an icon on the toolbar, you must right-click on the toolbar and select “Customize toolbar”.

However, I would advise against this, since it is a direct formatting of cells.

If you want to format cells frequently, you should use Styles/Cell styles.

See: Cell Styles in Calc

Somewhat more complex forms of formatting cells can be achieved with “AutoFormat”.

See: AutoFormat Table Styles

I hope that can help.

Thanks. I was pursing the aspect presented here by erAck.
