Format just numbers in Writer?

I might be searching for this the wrong way, but I haven’t been able to find anything that answers this question. Is there a way to select all the numbers in a block of text and format only those? In my case, I’m quoting Bible text and want to leave the verse numbers in but change them to superscript. I can do it manually, but it’s tedious.

try use that extension Alternative Find & Replace for Writer (AltSearch) » Extensions

or try type \d in Find field in Find&Replace dialog (make sure you activated Regular expression option) and press Find all button
