In my opinion it would be a good thing the possibility to render a text from a database, not only as a (simple) text, but also as html text. So that <b>some text</b> in a mysql database recod could be rendered in a writer odt file not (only, if you want as) <b>some text</b>, but (also, if you prefer, as) some text.
This could be a useful enhancement.
