I would like to format a text field in my Libreoffice Base form to use an €-symbol or cm. How would this be possible?

Do you really want to write text and in this text something like 'Bread: 2,35 €'? Or do you need a formatted field, which could be set to format for currency or others like [cm], [kg] and so on? It will be linked to a decimal field of the table.
The field for the form should be a formatted field. With a formatted field you will get the same dialog as the posted dialog of Calc.
I don’t use currency fields, because they won’t show negative values in red color.
