Formula object shortcut on MacOS doesn't work by default

The default shortcut for inserting a formula object on MacOS is “option + shift + e”. This shortcuts conflicts with the behavior of default English - ABC and English - US keyboard layouts, which use option keys to insert special characters (option (both left and right) + E and option + shift + E insert ´), making this shortcut impossible to use. Shortcuts could be easily modified in Tools > Customize… > Keyboard, but a default shortcut that doesn’t work by default seems to be an error.
