I am running windows 10 and I have tried both version of Libre Office. It worked great for a while there and I really appreciate all the hard work the team put into the program. Recently the program stops responding and loses all progress I made unless I manually save often. Today it won’t even open for a couple seconds before it stops responding immediately. I would greatly appreciate help with this issue.
What do you mean exactly by “both versions…”?
Firstly there are lots of different problems that may be caused by one or more of the frequent updates of Win10. The situation may depend heavily on the system the updates are applied to.
Secondly (probably in combination with the mentioned) there may have occurred a user-profile corruption. See https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile insofar.
Thirdly there may have occured additional damage. To avoid repeated access to probably damaged parts of LibO, it may be recommendable to do a complete uninstall of LibO before installing it (Installer from the official source!) again.
