I am working on libreoffice calc. On linux system, I made spreadsheet with different functions and worked very good with me then after changing my user on linux or opening it on another device all functions didn’t work with me specially VALUE function all results give err. 502 I need help please
Maybe you have a different language selected in Menu/Tools/Options/Languages settings/Languages that has a different decimal separator, then VALUE() function can convert text in numbers.
What should language be?
Better the same on both devices, if not with the same decimal separator.
Consider using NUMBERVALUE, which allows to specify fixed decimal separator, so that the conversion is independent of current locale.
I changed the language and the decimal separator and it worked well thanks to all
