Hi,
I’m on a Mac (High Sierra, 10.13.6) and I saved an LO document recently as a .docx file but now it won’t permit me to open it. My LO is version 4.3.4.1 and the error I get is General Error (General Input/Output error).
This is going to be a lot of work if I can’t get it to open again. I’ve not updated since I saved etc.

Are you able to copy the file to another location using Finder? Is there an old hidden file name something like .~lock.<original_filename># (same location as original filename)? If yes, close LO and check if it still exists and remove it.
I’ve tried to copy it but still get the same. There doesn’t appear to be a hidden file under that. Any other suggestions?
If you cannot copy using Finder, then it appears to be a problem of your operating system and not a problem of LibreOffice. Is you file local or stored on a network drive, cloud, USB drive, …?
