Grayed out Save Button for Remote Desktop

I have a bunch of Users that use Remote Desktop that connect to a server that has LibreOffice. We noticed that the Save button is grayed out and pressing Ctrl+S also does not do anything. Is there a setting that I am missing or do I need to do something specific?

System: Window Server 2012 R2 English
LibreOffice: Version 4.4.1.2

Please check the permissions of the documents, your users are trying to save.

Myself and another admin look at the file permissions and they were fine. Read-only was not checked and when it opens it does not say Read Only in the title bar.
