Have update releases changed

Version: 7.2.7.2 (x64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 8d71d29d553c0f7dcbfa38fbfda25ee34cce99a2
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19043; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: sv-SE (en_GB); UI: en-GB
Calc: threaded

I just accepted the update to this version and it only offered me “repair” or “uninstall”
What used to take a few minutes and seemingly involved removing and reinstalling everything, only took a few seconds. It actually took longer to update the offline help than the program.
Is anybody able to confirm whether we have a new streamlined update procedure or did I just do something wrong - again?
Thanks in advance

It looks like version 7.2.7.2 (x64) / LibreOffice Community was installed before.

Is anybody able to confirm whether we have a new streamlined update procedure…

I can only confirm that nothing changed during the installation.
In order to make further statements about what went wrong with you, you would have to describe in detail how you proceeded.

Yeah, that’s odd. My investigations show that 7.2.7.2 was my prior version so now the question becomes Why would LO offer me an update from 7.2.7.2 to 7.2.7.2 via the “update available” flag?
Incidentally, I verified the previous version by looking at a recent bug report - how were you able to identify that?

What a dummy - I failed to appreciate that it was advising me of a new release for the 7.3.4 - Techno Enthusiast version :man_facepalming:

Mistakes happen - it’s the normal case with humans.
