Help! Cannot get page numbering to start on p. 7 of a manuscript after multiple tries

I have been trying to start page numbering on page seven of my odt manuscript.

The numbering currently starts on the title page in the center of the header

I have followed instruction I have found on old posts in this this forum but I have been unable to get this done.

Can someone please take me through the steps to get my manuscript to start numbering on page 7

Click at the end of the last page before you want page numbering to begin (restart)

Click Insert > More Breaks > Manual Break.

In the dialogue box choose a page style and click the box Change page number. If you select 1 it will number page 7 as page one.

Now how would I move the numbers from the center of the header to the center of the footer

Click Format - Page style. In the dialogue that opens, select the tab labeled Footer and tick the box Footer on, OK.

Click inside the footer, your cursor will probably be at the left so press the tab key to place the cursor on the middle. Click Insert - Fields - Page number.

Delete the page number from the header.

Or

After turning on the footer, you could just select the page number in the header, cut it and paste it in the footer.
