I have always run Windows and have NO idea on how to use your photo app. I have only used your word app in the distant past Can you assist me in returning me to my usual windows program to deal with my photos?

Change the file associations in Windows to point to whatever application you want to associate with - i.e. be the application used to open - a specified file type. If you are not sure how to do this, search with your favourite search engine for set windows file associations

Note: LibreOffice isn’t a photo application.
