Help - how do I get the hyperlink as tooltip (again) in a pdf exported from Writer?

LibreOffice 24.2.3.2 (x86_64), Windows 11

By chance I noticed that hyperlinks in PDFs exported from Writer show the hyperlink’s text also as their tool tip. That’s redundant and unlike before.

Some time ago (but I don’t know how long) the hyperlink as such was shown as tool tip and I would like to have it that way again. For instance, a hyperlink “https://foobar.com” is not visible in the document but the text “Foobar Company”, and “https://foobar.com” should be displayed as tool tip instead (and has been before).

I’ve searched extensively but didn’t find anything pertinent. It must be Writer (or LO for that matter) since my older documents behave as desired and newer ones don’t, both in Acrobat Reader. It could be a new default setting since I have a new PC.

Experimented with macros for events in the hyperlink dialog box but to no avail. I’m stuck. Starting me off would be much appreciated.

I suspect it was a result of tdf#140617 or linked bugs but it leaves readers of the pdf vulnerable to bad or malicious links.
Links are confused with alternative text so there should be another method so that both can be displayed. Please report a bug, How to Report Bugs in LibreOffice - The Document Foundation Wiki
