Don’t want to make another post for what I’m sure is another simple solution. If ALT = means A+B=C when I highlight the three columns then how would I do the same for a number of items times a price in order to get total(AB=C)? I highlights CDE at the top and used function CD and it said #Value! At the top but doesn’t actually put the values in there. This time I’m trying to make one to track my stock market investment. Want shares x buy price to get total, do the same for sale price then figure out how to function to get profit $ and %. Finding out the key to my problems is the function aspect just struggling to figure out how the get the formulas in the right spots so that the entire column as I add a new row does the same thing. Can add shares, buy price and sell price and have the rest of it calculate automatically.
