"Hidden" Frame Name

LibreOffice Writer 7.5.1.2. Windows 10.

The top of the Navigator frame list has names that are a grey colour. The greyed frame names appeared after LibreOffice crashed and I restarted it in normal mode. The greyed frames were in the document before the crash. Hovering the mouse over the greyed names displays “hidden”. The “hidden” frames are not displayed in the document.

I did not deliberately “hide” any frames, which I don’t know how to do anyway.

What does “hidden” mean and how can I recover the frames?

In other circumstances I also had “hidden frames” in my files (Draw; Writer). They seem to be residues of a somehow broken saving process. I could not erase these hidden frames as well.
If new generated frames get a counted position in the Navigator the hidden ones count the same as the regular ones.
On the long run I could not notion any negative effects on the hidden frames. But I am always aware to get back-ups especially of these files, they are a bit damaged, IMHO.

No idea.

Amazingly, the “hidden” frames have returned after I rebooted the computer and reopened LibreOffice.

Would still like to know what happened.

For me the restart method does not work.

If you can reduced the problematic document to 2-3 pages with no private data in it, attach it for further analysis.

I have a file with the same problem.
I have done the document, and anchored frames to the page header: three in odd pages, and one in even pages.

Sorry that it’s a screenshot, but there are many private data, even in the styles.xml of the emptied document.

In the styles.xml subfile there are a lot of frames with svg data:

<draw:frame draw:style-name="Mfr5" draw:name="Frame191111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111" text:anchor-type="char" svg:x="19.33cm" svg:y="25.636cm" svg:width="3.004cm" svg:height="2.574cm" draw:z-index="0">
<draw:text-box>
<text:p text:style-name="MP3">[</text:p>
</draw:text-box>
</draw:frame>

The draw:name (Frame191111…) increases a 1 in each instance.
I will try to find a solution and/or cause.
