highlight text invisible in presentation mode

Hi,

When using libreoffice impress to create some slides, I am highlighting part of the text in the slide, but when I go for presentation mode the highlighting disappears.

Also, when I export my odp presentation to pdf file, the same happens. The text appears in the pdf file without any highlight color.

Also, when I save as a pptx file. The highlight disappears from the slides.

Any ideas?

Same as me in MacOS - at least since 5.0 version until now (5.2.4.2). When I start the slideshow the highlighting is not shown.

This has been a long standing bug in Libre Office Impress. See more information here https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=93789

So, whilst this doesn’t provide a solution, the answer is to just not use a text highlight
