Horizontal alignment format in cell in template is lost in new spreadsheet created from template

I created a template in which I formatted some cells to be center aligned horizontally. When I create a new sheet from the template the cells are left aligned.
I’ve tripled-checked the template.

I am using Libre Office
Version: 25.8.4.2 (X86_64)

I can’t reproduce but I didn’t try every possibility.

I suggest that you create a new cell style by right-clicking Default and selecting New. Give it a name and change only the alignment, OK. Apply that cell style to the cells in your template in which you want the alignment changed.
