When I hover over a footnote marker in Writer I get a pop-up that shows the content of the footnote. When I export to PDF, all I get is a page number reference… I’d rather get the footnote content. How can I do that?

I was hoping someone would have a suggestion for how to fix this… Anyone?
@knottedknickers problem is that, AFAIK, that’s not possible. You may get a similar effect by using form elements, but that means a lot of extra work for a not so good result.
Thanks for the reply, RGB-es. Should I report it as a bug? Or somehow ask for the addition of this as a feature request? It would be really nice to have control over the pop-up after export to PDF. Even to be able to remove the useless (and, frankly, embarrassing) redundant page numbers that are presently inserted.
The same issue also currently applies to endnote links in an exported pdf (July 2020)
