hi, thanks for your work, thanks for LibO!
a suggestion:
PROJECTS… libre-Porject
similarly to programmers’ text editor, BlueFish, Geany, Ultraedit, it’d be GREAT to have… PROJECTS…
-
it could function very simply…
-
it could be available from tools…
-
it could be a popup window OR a part of NAVIGATOR…
-
’the’ PROJECTs LIST Page (the list of projects) could have:
PROJECT name | number of windows | 'last opened' | 'created'
-
’a’ FILE LIST Page (= list of files / project) could have:
FILE name | ‘last opened’ | ‘created’
- the project file (holding the Project List) could be automatically saved on exit, and in every now and then
thank you again for your work!
…
PS: a suggestion to all of us
let’s call it, refer to it as Libre-Project…
even at this stage of asking for it
why?
“Projects” as a functionality – an “organizer” of files, documents that you’re working on – is NOT a Microsoft invention at all…
I saw several suggestions, requests about a PROJECT function, but I guess it is more difficult for the developers to deal with them if what they (we) request is what Microsoft made.
For example, when a new Microsoft office comes out and the Project (which they call MS-project) gets updated… what happens next?
The free world (of LibO) gets panicked? Demanding right away the updates?
It should not be like that…
