I’m looking for a way to submit a feature request, but so far without success.
So, I’m asking here, as someone has always been helpful.
Specifically, what I often miss in LibreOffice Calc is the ability to invert filters. This would be very useful – if I select a certain dataset and then need to invert it, there is currently no way to do that in LibreOffice.
Where can I submit such a request?
Feature requests are submitted on Bugzilla.
Prefix the title with FEATURE REQUEST or equivalent so that the intent is obvious. In the description, develop a sound argumentation backed by use cases. Try to turn it in a kind of formal specification.
When done, be patient. Ideas are numerous but developers are scarce.
If you’re courageous enough, dive into the source code (it is freely available) and experiment yourself.
