I can use edit a data series and change the properties in the Settings for Spacing and Overlap which seems to be the way to change the size of the bars.
I have tried for hours to find the properties to set for use with a macro.
Does anyone know how to change the size of the bars in a chart using a macro?
You should be able to access it from the axis properties. Look at The Structure of Charts - Apache OpenOffice Wiki on the section “Properties of Axes” → " Only for bar charts"
