How can I convert a WordPerfect file to a Writer file?

I’m using WordPerfect Office 5, and the latest version of LibreOffice Writer won’t open any WordPerfect files. I’ve used WordPerfect for many years and have lots of files that I don’t want to lose. Can anybody help with conversion?

  1. LO should open .wpd files.

  2. Can you save your files as .rtf in WP?
