How can I copy and paste the objects without them getting slightly shrunk on Libre office draw

when I paste a one-line textbox onto another file, it horizontally shrinks(gets small) and comes to have two lines. I want to preserve the shape of a textbox so I don’t have to manually modify it every time I use the command.

Typically I import pdf files into LO draw and lock the first layer, and then draw on a layer four.

1. I cannot confirm the dscribed issue with handmade TextBox (in LibO V 7.0.0 Draw).
2. How, exactly, do you “import” the pdf?
3. What version of LibO, What OS?
4. Does the problem only occur with “imported” pdf?
5. Does it occur also independent of your specific way of using layers?
