I’m not sure there is a way to do this. If ?m working on something, be it my browser or some doc or whatever, and I click to open another doc, and the switch back to what I was doing, the opening doc will force me to go to it, instead of staying in the background; is there a way to make opening docs open in the background, so I am not hitting alt+tab all the time to stay on whatever I am working on? I’ve tried looking for this but haven’t found it…
Try setting ForceFocusAndToFront setting to false (look for in in Options▸LibreOffice▸Advanced▸Expert Configuration).
