How can I make my documents APA compliant?

For my course work all work has to be in APA style. How can I make sure when I do them they are APA compliant?

I would take the APA manual, check and adjust all APA related options in

  • Tools > options
  • Open Styles and Formatting (F11) > check and adjust all setting for all styles (paragraph, character, frames, page, numbered and bulleted list and save this file as a template.
    The template can be set as your default template or your “APA Publicaton Template”.

It would be nice contribution for maybe many US Americans if you collect all settings and publish them here or somewhere else in the LibO. When you ask where and who to contact, I am sure someone knows how to do this.
