How can I open a Powerpoint presentation on a flash drive in LibreOffice? And how can I save an Impress presentation as Powerpoint?

I have a powerpoint presentation made elsewhere sent to me on a flash drive. How do I open it. And I want to save a presentation in powerpoint format for use elsewhere. How do I do that?

LO Impress can open and save Powerpoint files, although compatability is not 100%

File/Open your file

File/Save As…

Save file type as: Pick from drop down list

It’s safer to copy the file to your hard drive, edit the copy, copy the edited copy to the flash drive.
