I have set librewriter as a default, but I cannot preview doc or docx files in windows 10 directory as I can with word docs that have never been saved in librewriter.
LibreOffice does not include a preview feature for Explorer, other than displaying thumbnails for ODF (ODT/ODS/etc)… so do you mean that you can preview some documents in Explorer (how exactly? thumbnails or a preview pane?) until you open and resave the documents with LO?
In the preview pane in Windows Explorer I can preview pdf, jpg, and even txt documents but now that I have set windows to open doc and docx in LibreWriter it no longer previews doc files.
