How can I search and replace all new paragraphs

I’m using writer and have a document with manually added empty lines between each paragraph. I want to remove them all. How do I do that with writer?

Edit > Find & Replace…

• Search for ^$
• Replace with [leave empty]
• click Other Options
• check Regular Expressions
