How can I sort Chinese characters that are already in a paragraph form?

I would like to sort Chinese characters from a paragraph form (to a list with “paragraph returns” after each character).
I am using LibreOffice Calc (can also use Writer), on my Xubuntu 14.04 distro.

In case Writer
Select the paragraph in question and do :
→Edit→Search&replace:

search for  

.

replace with  

&\n

[x]regular Expression
[x]only in Selection

→→replace all

I was advised via email to make a Macro inside of Writer. It worked (under tools).
Update – the Macro worked, but it was limited by my amount of patience in making a pattern.
THEN I tried the method of search/find and replace given by the person who answered my question – and it worked!!! Thank you so much–I tried for several hours to do this before. Thanks again.
