Hi. I am running LibreOffice on Windows 8 (64 bit). I have recently updated to version 4.2.5.2. but since then, when I try to open a file in Writer or Calc I get a message saying that the program is not responding and windows will now close it. I have tried a repair install and a full re-install but I still get the same message. I am not computer savvy and I don’t know what to do next. Please help.
I would try to replace the user profile. How to do this is explained here: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile
If this doesn’t work, please report in details on the LibO and OS version as well as details on the steps you take to open a file.
This seems risky, as all templates would probably be messed up (reset) (?)
