Hello! We’ve been publishing PowerPoint template extensions on the LibreOffice Extensions site. We are curious and would like to see detailed download analytics, such as how many people are downloading it, where they’re located, etc. and possibly who they are. Is there a built-in way to track such statistics in the Extensions platform? If not then is there any workaround? or any best practice?
The best practice is not to track people. It may make sense to be interested in knowing geographical distribution of the downloads (which is a question to the TDF infra - ask on IRC in #tdf-infra channel), but LibreOffice (and its website) is not a tracking tool (“who they are”).
