Hello
I am working on a LibreOffice Calc project that involves very large data sets; with thousands of rows and complex formulas. As the file grows; I have noticed that performance drops & even simple operations take longer to complete.
I am looking for practical solutions to keep Calc fast and stable; even when handling big volumes of information.
Some ideas I am considering include reducing volatile formulas, using absolute & relative references properly & splitting data into separate sheets. While researching tips and examples, I came across a list of Excel Interview questions and realized that many of these could be adapted to test advanced Calc skills in professional scenarios.
Has anyone here successfully implemented advanced techniques to optimize Calc for large-scale use? A good starting point is the Official LibreOffice Calc Guide but I am especially interested in your real-world experiences and tricks you use in daily work.
Thank you !!
