How do add bold, italic and underline to the toolbar

The bold, itilacs and underline symbols are not on my tool bar in Libre Office and I wish to insert them

View > Toolbars > Formatting.

Enable the Formatting toolbar, you can do that by selecting [Menu] > View > ‘Toolbars’. Just select Formatting there and you are set.
