How do I change what toolbars open by default?

At some point I changed my settings so that NONE of the toolbars are present when I start a new text document, and it’s annoying to have to manually open the Text Object Toolbar every single time… attempts to search for the solution only exacerbate my frustration

You can fix it reasonably easily by resetting your Profile (see answer to Q62646).
