I have just bought a new laptop and have downloaded Libre Office. I now wish to use it in my position as secretary of an Improvised Jazz Organisation which is run by volunteers. I am the secretary. I’m trying to cut and paste our logo from a Microsoft document to a Libre writer doc. Can someone tell me how to do this?
Open both files. In M$ file, highlight the logo and click Ctrl+C
(Copy). In the LibreOffice file, place the cursor where the logo should appear and click Ctrl+V
(paste).
You can also open the M$ file directly in LibreOffice and save it as an ODT file.
To convert your M$ Office documents to the OpenDocument format using in LibreOffice the Document Converter, choose File>Wizards>Document Converter.
Is that what you are looking for?
