How do I create an Impress slide with a two-column content?

I want to have two-column content on my Impress slide. But - I can’t just use the “2 content” layout, because then I have to manually distribute content among the columns, set identical font sizes, manually draw a separator between the columns etc.

Can I get “proper” 2-column content in Impress?

Select the Text Box.
In the Sidebar ( Ctrl+F5 = ON/OFF ), select “Columns” in the “Properties” section at the bottom and choose “2”.
There you can also set the distance between the Columns.

Indeed. Unfortunately, that seems to be quite broken with RTL. I wonder if there’s an open bug about it.
