How do I download web data such as finance.yahoo.com API

I can’t make HYPERLINK do more than =HYPERLINK(https:/finance.yahoo.com/d/quotes.csv)

I want to be able to use a link like this:

hxxps://finance.yahoo.com/d/quotes.csv?s=COP+CCK+AGCO+AXL+MLM+PKB+XLI&f=sd1t1l1vc1pn

which I’m able to do by pasting the text directly into Firefox, but not with LibreOffice. I get a 510 error message and it wants me to shorten it to =HYPERLINK(https:/finance.yahoo.com/d/quotes.csv).

Clues?

I can do HYPERLINK without problem. You should wrap link in quotation marks and you need two forward slashes: http://. You’ve missed that in your question so I made assumption that you’ve missed that in your spreadsheet. Does that solve your problem?
