I’m new to Spreadsheet and still learning. I created one over time for my Rideshare I do with Uber and Lyft. It works out really well and now I’m trying to do a Chart to show which days I made the most money by using a Chart.
I know I did it the long way and probably easier, but this works out for me.
On the bottom of this sheet is my new work for the Chart
I took all the “Sundays” “Mondays” etc., and the Totals from the Column Cell that they in and add them together to give me the total for “Mondays” in the Chart.
For example all the Mondays this month fall in R5,R12,R19,R26,R33
So the total for Mondays is on the bottom next to the chart and it shows up in the Chart perfectly when the number changes.
Here is my issue…
Say I don’t work on a Sunday like I didn’t work the Sunday in Cell R12.
Is there a way or Formula I can use for B38 to exclude the cells in Column R from being counted when they are “0” like the Cell R 12 when it’s empty?
OR
Maybe I should change the Chart to “Daily Averages” ONLY for the day’s I did work and there is a number in Column “R”.
Right now the formula in R38 is =R5+R12+R19+R26+R33
Should I change it to Averages for the days I worked or totals for days I worked better?
What formula would I use to exclude days being counted in R38 that are “0” in Column “R” ?
I’m getting confused and possibly just confusing myself it if would even matter or affect the accuracy of the Chart.
